Lets actually blog on this page..

So I was thinking about Kool Aid today. Did you know they do not make Purplesaurus Rex Kool Aid any more. Now I haven't purchased Kool Aid in years so I didn't realize this. So I go online to and I find a whole bunch of shit on the internet. There is a whole Kool Aid underground - complete with websites dedicated to the stuff and the Kool Aid man and to those who "trade" Kool Aid packets and collectibles. I guess people trade and collect everything now-a-days. One guys site that had a recipe for those who still want that very popular but no longer available Puplesaurus Rex flavour. Take one packet of grape Kool Aid and one packet of lemonade Kool Aid and mix as usual in a pitcher big enough to hold one gallon of water. He swears it is exactly the same flavour. I will have to try it out.. Now where the hell do I get lemonade Kool Aid?

I bought a new van. Not that I wanted to, but I kinda needed to, business is that fricken busy. Its a '98 Grand Caravan, I never realized it, but the Grand's do have quite a bit more room than the regular Caravan's. So I now own 3 vehicles, but my Intrepid is on the DL (disabled list) until the new year, till I can put a down payment on the insurance.

I was at West Edmonton Mall on saturday, man it is a zoo around the Christmas season, plus it was a weekend, but I had some errands to do (not shopping realted) and West Ed is the only place to find what I was looking for.. Anyways I saw the stupidest woman driver driving a big new Dodge Ram truck. Ok so by the Casino there is two ramps to go to the upper level parking, one of off 87ave which has a claering of 7'0 and another on the inside of the parking lot that has a clearance of 6'2. Now I am behind this lady on the inside ramp, her truck is probably 7'0 tall.. So she goes up the 6'2 ramp, inches, stops, inches, stops, inches, stops.. decides she can't fit, backs down this ramp, cuts off traffic, and goes on. So I go up the ramp, park at the top, and come down the stairs next to the ramp. NOW what do I see? The woman on the damn ramp again.. So the reason this height restriction os 6'2 is because the upper level actually cuts over top of the ramp, so you have a big parkade ceiling above you with only a clearance of 6'2 at the most. So she drove through the blue bar thingy but had to stop at the cement clearence, cause she didn't want to royally mess up her truck. Her passenger (another female) gets out, and hops in the bed of the truck while this woman creeps up to the cement clearing to see if they could possibly fit, well of course its a NO. So she stays in the back of the truck while they back down again.. She stays so that when they come to the blue clearance railing, she can hold it up so it doesn't hit the truck again, and they back down slowly, inch by inch... (I am actually kind of amused watching this lack of common sense). So they finally get down the ramp.. Here's my two points; 1. The truck is about 7'0 tall, lets say this woman is 5'6, now she *knows* this truck is a good foot taller than her, as she has to jump into the damn truck. So do the math 5'6 + 1' = 6'6. Now if your clearance is only 6'2 and the truck, by crude estimates, is 6'6, what the hell are you doing?? and 2. If you had already gone up the ramp once and decided the truck was too big to get up so you backed down, WHY would you go and try again?? I tell you people lose all common sense around this time of year, Christmas and winter, and its a miracle that people like this don't cause more and more accidents than they already do.
